The Mahony’s Second Tour of Italy


Everyone at the Mahony is pleased to announce our first wine dinner of 2018.  Our Chef, Brian Mahony, would like to invite your taste buds on a journey to Italy through their cuisine and wines.

This wine dinner consists of a 4 course meal with each course paired with a wine selected by our Chef.  Included is our signature Mahony presentation and style along with descriptions of the food and wine by our Chef and wine experts.

The dinner will be on March 21st at 6:00pm.  For reservations please contact our welcoming manager Chris Braisted at (716) 783-8009, and he would be happy to accommodate you.

Price: $65 per person (tax and gratuity not included)

Ringing in the New Year

Happy 2018 to all of our valued guests. The New Year is bringing with it more amazing food coming out of our kitchen and the same welcoming service we have always had. 2017 was a great year for The Mahony, and we want to extend our gratitude to all of you for making it that way. 2018 has some exciting things on the horizon, and we will be sharing all of that with you as things get closer. A big thanks to all of you, and we can not wait for you to come in year

Buffalove Fall

Officially Fall doesn’t begin until the end of September.  In Buffalo, we love to extend our seasons, but we LOVE the newness of each changing season.  Labor Day in Buffalo means the beginning of the unofficial Autumn.  The new season means craft beer, great meals, and lots of sports.  The Mahony is prepared for an influx of concert goers, hockey fans, and tourist.  We look forward to seeing you soon!

September 15th enjoy Thursday Night Football without heading to Orchard Park.  The Bills host the New York Jets and for those who do not want to head to the stadium, we will have the game on.  Enjoy local brews, delicious apps, and delectable meals without the insanity of battle tested tailgators.

September also bring music.  The Dixie Chicks play the big arena (almost formerly the First Niagara Center) on Saturday, September 17th.

Preseason hockey begins downtown Buffalo, Tuesday September 27th v. Ottawa and then again on Friday night September 30th against Austin Matthews and the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Coldplay, T-Shirts, Tritonal, and Canalside

Coldplay plays the FNC Monday night August 1, at 7.  The show has been getting rave reviews and you can see them before the tour takes a western swing.  Stop in to the Mahony before of after the show.

For the month of August, if you tag us in your selfie from our dining room, patio, or bar you will be entered to win a Mahony T-Shirt.  Winners will be randomly selected throughout the month and the contest ends August 31.  Shirts are also available for purchase at the bar.

Tritonal is one of the hottest DJ Duo’s in the country and Thursday night August 4th this duo is expected to light up Canalside with glow sticks and power music.  Don’t miss this free show.

@CanalsideBflo is buzzing with tourists and players of Pokéman Go.  If you are with the kids, on a date or have family in town, we are ready and waiting to feed you.

Grand Opening Tonight!


The Mahony is excited to host our official Grand Opening TONIGHT!

Since doors opened two months ago we have had the privilege of serving endless guests that have graciously left so many wonderful compliments on our facebookpage. We look forward to celebrating with them this evening and with those who haven’t had the chance to stop by yet!

There will be drink and appetizer specials throughout the evening for guests to sample our menu and a limited number of just arrived t-shirts for sale. Invite your friends, family and co-workers to join you inside or on the patio. The Mahony is OPEN!


Today is the day! March 31st, 2016 the doors at The Mahony are open. After a successful day yesterday of serving the Fairmont building tenants, Chef Brian Mahony opens the doors today to the public.

The Mahony is open to dine in or for high-end take out:
11am-10pm Monday thru Friday
4pm-11pm Saturday

Stop in and meet owner and Chef Brian Mahony. Chef Mahony is a Western New York native who grew up in Williamsville. He spent 13 years on the West coast, graduating from the California Culinary Academy and was classically trained in French cuisine in the South of France. While out West he worked at four and five-diamond resorts including the Hotel Del Coronado in San Diego. More recently, Chef has been the Executive Culinary Director at the Salamanca Casino for 8 years leading up to his decision to open his own restaurant.

The Mahony is located in the Fairmont Creamery building at 199 Scott Street in Buffalo.
